1. What we collect

We collect the following information when you use IQStep2 CK:

• Email address — used to authenticate you and link your subscription.
• Study profile — exam date, target score, weak systems, and study hours you enter during onboarding. Used only to personalise your dashboard.
• Quiz attempts — questions answered, choices selected, correctness, confidence, and time spent. Used to build your performance report and error notebook.
• Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited). Used for security and debugging only.

2. What we do not collect

We do not store payment card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How we use your data

• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To personalise your study plan and performance report.
• To verify your subscription status and grant access to the QBank.
• To send transactional emails (sign-in links, onboarding sequence). You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS in the US). We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies to maintain authentication. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

6. Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and all associated data. Email us at hello@iqstep2ck.com to make a request. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or a notice in the app.
